YouTube is giving bad users experiences
1. Mass amounts of unskippable (scam) Ads that disturb users and ruin the platform. Some Ads are even in subscription feed, even pause Ads
2. Lots of AI generated videos/ shorts that have misinformation and violate community guidelines
3. Moderate users’ freedom of speech instead of platform safety
4. Terrible/ unnecessary UI changes that bring uncomfortable users experience. Important functions (e.g dislikes, PM, channel’s info are removed)
5. Lagging/ unsmooth app operation (constant freezing/ bug)

There are so many ads and some are 90+ long. it takes a lot of time to watch a single video. And short lovers like me, can’t enjoy three swipes without an ad. This is so annoying… there are so many different varieties to watch, but don’t get too excited. Unnecessary audio track
I don’t understand what the audio track is for, it’s an extremely bad experience when it comes to watching shorts. I understand some video need this function, but can you disable it for shorts, or make the audio track choosable in the settings?

Only got 4 clips when refresh

But this bug has been here for a long long time, when you refresh the app to get new clips, it will only give you four and cannot load others, I think this happened for years. I need to completely close the app and start again to get normal behaviour.

Frustration for TV user
Please do not create extra steps for TV user to use the app. Don’t you know there are elderly people who use the app everyday on home TV? Why do you need log in confirmation every time? One additional step is enough for elderly people to give up. Just go straight into the app for them to use as normal ok? TV user won’t change account very often and I don’t understand why you ask people to confirm log in every time before use.

UI gets worse and worse upon update
was able to zoom-in for pictures for community posts, but somehow now it turns into full screen picture with tons of black screen on the side of the screen. What’s worse is that I thought I am able to rotate my screen to view the pictures clearly, it just doesn’t work! UI User experience need to be improved
While playing a video; it will jump and play another video on touches of suggested video. This is awful experience as it should prompt whether to jump to another video instead of a sharp cut and jump to another.
The suggested videos keep playing videos that already have been watched ; and the auto play videos keep playback on channels that is blocked and rated poor.
Recent video recommendations start to recommend me videos 3-7 years back 🤦🏻♀️

A serious bug that need to be fixed!
After updating the app, I can only see video playing states as 201 episodes / total episodes during playing a long playlist. All the episodes more than 201 will only appear as 201, which makers me unable to identify my progress in the playlist. It’s terribly inconvenient for me when I am watching a long playlist and counting the progress. Please fix this problem as soon as possible🙏

Charge twice but no service
Today I tried to subscribe on my apple app store the family premium with the offer of a one month free trial. But it seemed it didn’t work as i still saw ads and cannot download. So i went to purchase and subscribe, it didn’t show i have subscription and so i hit the button again. But still i saw ads. Being very frustrated, i was even more infuriated because i saw i was charged twice, $128 and $118. I don’t know what happened. And i found no proper way to get help.

Search filter by View Count
Seems the function to search something by view count is working differently all of a sudden. It no longer returns you the result in order of view counts (highest to lowest). Instead, I’m suspecting it returns you what is recently more popular, together with some videos that does not relate to your key word search but relates more to what you’ve been watching. Also, seems the Shorts are taking up a larger part of the screen (I’m viewing from mobile app) than before which I find rather annoying.

No real advice on how to match account countries across family members for premium. Absolutely horrible "help" section. Can't reach a person to talk to. An utter waste of money and not worth the hassle of doing everything perfectly on their terms. Mirroring with hdmi adaptor
When mirroring with hdmi adaptor with iPad Pro, the iPad screen will keep playing the same image as the TV and do not go full screen on TV; however, with the previous version of iPad, it will go full screen on the TV and change to control mode on the iPad. Please fix this.

You will loose viewers eventually if you keep censoring conservative media. You should NOT be the arbiter who decides what we can or cannot see. Don’t be so arrogant to think you cannot be replaced. Just remember you replaced a lot of the old media and you will also be replaced if you do not respect your viewers.

Most annoying app I’ve ever encountered
First of all, I always get an advertisement every 5 minutes when I’m watching a video.
Secondly, the controls for video playback are messed up. They are currently very inconvenient as whenever I try to forward a video by sliding right on the bottom bar, the app plays the previous video for me. The same goes with back-warding a video.
Lastly, stop showing recommended videos at the bottom of the screen when I’m watching a video in full screen mode. They show up whenever I tap my screen once and it’s hindering my ability for controlling video playback.
My suggestion is to remove the function for sliding right on the screen to skip to the next video because I find that the skipping button can already do the job. Hope you get my message.

Some suggestions
The video is good and easy to use. Just a minor suggestion: 1/ can the history show the date so I can search the viewed video quicker. 2/ It would be better to have the disinterest video list record and can allow to remove the disinterest when we change our mind! Thanks!

Cannot be watched on LG SMART TV
Cannot be watched on LG SMART TV in recent month after an update. I watched it in my TV on a regular basis for fee months until recrntly. It just wouldn't load. Please fix this problem. I can watch it on mobile device fine except on he smart tv.

Annoying bugs otherwise a great experience
Of all the iPhones and iPads I have which are updated to the latest iOS, these bugs seem to never fade away:
1. When in split view mode, the video automatically becomes full screen without me touching anything, so it can randomly happen when I’m watching a video or reading a comment. It makes scrolling down impossible.
2. After rotating the video from portrait to landscape and otherwise, sometimes the app becomes unresponsive to touch. For example, I am unable to minimise the video that I’m watching and sometimes I can’t even scroll down to the comment section.
Please fix it’s been almost 5 months!

Pls fix this
There’s one feature really annoys me. That when i pause during a video the video turns dark and when i play again i’ll have to wait a few seconds for it to get bright again and i’ll miss those few seconds of the video. Of course i know i can click somewhere to make it bright quicker but phone screen is small i end up accidentally click on some other buttons. Can you please fix this? It is too annoying. Many thanks

The loading is bad!
When I clicked on a video or home stuff like that it will loads and says ‘Error while loading tap to retry’ and for me that will only happens when I have no WiFi but I have WiFi and it won’t let me see the videos! It will still say the same thing please fix it because it’s driving me crazy!

I'm using iPhone X 11.3
When I click the upload button, it must get back to home screen and close itself automatically. I try restart and upload again, the problem is still get back to home screen again. I hope that problem will be solved as soon as possible. Thank you.

Search Box IPhone X Bug
The is an very annoying bug on this version update for my X. The search space is kinda move up to the edge of the screen stacking with clock and battery screen everytime after going fullscreen. Need this to be fixed asap!

Cant remove the vids that im not interested in watching
In the home page, when you press one video for a longer time it used to show a bar of options abt "adding to watch ltr, not interested in the video etc." But now the latest version cannot show this up because when i do the same thing, the video thumbnail can be dragged all over the page but i absolutely dont understand the purpose of that and that thing is completely useless. Hope you can fix this thanks!

Advertisement error
The advertisement in the videos can’t be played which hindered me to watch the videos as the ad is compulsory and can’t be skipped. Therefore, the display just remains at the ad page (black screen). This continuously happens for over 20 times across various videos by different channels. The error was discovered few days ago. Please fix this problem as it keeps happening even for the latest updated version of the app. Thanks.

It’s been for a long while, almost a month that all videos lagged before they actually played. No matter how I uninstall and reinstall this app. The problem is still here. I’ve never made comments on apps review BUT this time I really need to do it.

Ads Stuck during video
Every time when I m playing the video, the ads bumps out but it holds on . The screen was frozen and the sound of the original video was going while the Ads was frozen .
It has happened a lot since lots of patches but I don’t any improvement. I’m so sorry .
