Translate ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs into (nearly) any modern language!
Universal Hieroglyph Translator has the same acclaimed onboard Egyptian dictionary as our "Hieroglyph Pro" App. Nearly 50,000 words and phrases with their respective translations, transliterations, and parts of speech. All the translations are done in your device using the very latest "Machine Learning" technology from Google Translate.
No internet connection is required after your desired Language modules have been downloaded!
Egyptian is entered into the App as standard text using the regular iPhone keyboard using either Gardiner codes, Manuel de Codage strings, or any combination of the two. You do not need to enter a whole word to find matching words or phrases. Here are some examples:
X1-G1-G36-D21-X1-H8-I12 (pure Gardiner Codes)
ra-wsr-mAat-ra-stp-n (Manuel de Codage abbreviations)

After typing in your glyphs, tap the blue Done button to start the translation process. The resulting translations can be pasted into other Apps like Main, Message, Numbers, Notes, etc.
Currently UHT supports 59 modern languages including:
