Next stop: Shortcuts support and better performance!
Since releasing support for Tidal and YouTube Music, we have been monitoring user reports and making it even easier to ride the TuneTransit rails with continued updates. While this may be the third update this week to fix bugs and improve performance, it contains a reward for our dedicated users -- support for Shortcuts!
This update contains the following new features, bug fixes, and improvements:
- New Feature: Introducing Shortcuts support! With this update, we have released our first action for Shortcuts called "Convert Link". This allows you to input a link into the action from an Apple Shortcut and immediately bring you into TuneTransit to deliver the results. As with other new features like initial Messages support and our Now Playing widget, please note that this is a work in progress and subject to change in future updates!
- Improvement: Sharing songs and links from YouTube Music is now more reliable and accurate.
- Improvement: Matching songs to Tidal from other music platforms is now more accurate.
- Bug Fix: The "Share with other apps" option in YouTube Music now provides the right media to search in TuneTransit.
Since the release of our last major update (Version 1.3), we have also delivered the following bug fixes and improvements:
- Improvement: Sharing songs into TuneTransit is now more reliable. (Version 1.3.1)
- Improvement: Matching songs to YouTube Music from other music platforms is now more accurate. (Version 1.3.1)
- Improvement: TuneMessage has been updated to bring early support for Tidal and YouTube Music in the Recent Conversions section. (Version 1.3.1)
- Bug Fix: Music metadata for Smart Links and Story Cards is now validated prior to using these features. (Version 1.3.1)
- Bug Fix: We fixed a rare scenario where new TuneTransit users were unable to search for a track without seeing a Daily Limit error. (Version 1.3.2)
