It was my mistake to order food to my old home. So I contacted their CS by text and they had someone to call me back.
In both conversations, I admitted my mistake and I told them I would pay for the balance of the delivery charge to get my food.
However, they just kept telling me that the only option was to cancel the order but I would not get neither my food nor my money back.
It just wasted my time, money and food!

Very bad experience on my less than 8 times use of Foodpanda. The driver took the food but spent almost an hour to arrive because he took other orders but not able to handle them in timely manner. The online customer service looked like a software robot and not helpful at all explaining what happen and no follow up action in mind except for an apologize and hkd 20 refund. The food became cold and maybe even grow bacteria!

Is it hard for you to give me the delivery guy number and yes! My fault to not to change my address. I put my work address when I ordered food in food panda that it should my home address.. He came to my working place(he reach the destination)and delivered the good but he came back and he take the food and leave the place.. the food amount is $334.. I paid my card for that food. They can’t even give me a voucher for that.. not good service at all..I tried to asked a help but u can’t do anything but they can’t even give me the number of delivery guy. The guy he can’t even speak or write English. You should speak to your delivery guy..Next time if u can’t reach the person better give it back in the restaurant. And, we pick up the food.. I’m so disappointed on this. No one will gonna used this food panda if ur gonna treat ur customers like that. You can even contact the delivery guy and solve the problem. keep it up.. Better not to order in food panda anymore.

Never have I ordered on this platform without issues like delayed delivery and order got cancelled. Just like tonight I ordered food at 6:30pm and the expected arrival time was originally 7:30pm. I waited till 8:15pm and the order still hasn’t arrived nor there was any update towards the order. I contacted the customer agent and was promised that the order would come before 8:35pm. Got another call at 8:45pm from another customer agent and was told that the order will be cancelled for no reason. Waited two total hours to just be told that the food I ordered was not coming and I need to place another order from scratch.. this is the worst ever. Never ordering from this platform again.

Well, almost every time I get my order, something is wrong, either it’s late, super late, or the food is cold or spilled … or, and mostly, just encounters bad mannered delivery man.. always rude, and all of them never wear uniform or has any indication that they work for food panda, sometimes my food won’t even have the receipt on it, and only a piece of paper with some hand written number on it (Deliveroo has the same problem to be frank)
I’m giving 1 star only because they have places I like to order from, aside from that, it’s terrible service and you can never reach a real person to complain or to report to if something goes wrong, I honestly prefers Deliveroo if I want better service.
Will they ever improve? Let’s hope so.. not holding my breath for that tho..

I live in Thailand using the rubbish food panda app to order the food
I order the curry roti but finally come with roti without curry! And I didn’t have the shop phone no. So that I only can contact food panda staff. But unfortunately the staff reply me said cannot resend the curry to me, they can’t help anything! And only said refund me 60 bath. Such a simple service to resend me back the curry they even cannot to fulfill customers, and also treat the customers as a fool as a beggar!!!!
Same experience in GRAB they didn’t disappointed to me! They send me back immediately and even one time they free for me
What a big difference between these 2 app
So ppl in Thailand pls use CRAB instead of rubbish FOOD PANDA!!!!!!!!!

They cancel your order and take your money

How much do they spend on paying people to leave fake comments? It looks like the money they took from us all goes to these fake positive ratings. We ordered from panda mart on Nov 21. Waited for 2h, no one knocked our doors or called us. We were then told that our order was canceled because “the team couldn’t find us”. No refund. Such a blatant lie. We shopped with panda for months and no one ever had any problems finding us. There are detailed address, and a thing called mobile phone. So $300 just went to waste. What a joke.

I ordered the food at 12:53 and the app shows the order is ready to be picked up at 13:15. When I arrived the restaurant 13:05, the restaurant told me the order has not been received because their foodpanda machine was broken for the whole time. However, it is really weird that I still can order from the app. The most unreasonable thing was I was not notified about the cancellation of order by email or message. Until 13:09, foodpanda sent an email regarding the order and stated that my order has been cancelled by the restaurant. It just wasted my time because i have already arrived the restaurant. I reported the case to customer service officers but they rather not compensate anything to customer. I am very disappointed at their service and will never use the app again. This is a negative experience i have never encountered when using delivery app. Be careful and use other delivery app:)

I would rate zero star if allowed. Last week we ordered the food and they delivered the wrong pack of food to us. Yes, the whole pack of food was incorrect, all 6 items are wrong. They apologised and gave us a HKD25 coupon and asked us to give them another chance.
So, today we ordered the food again at 7:10pm with expected delivery time of 50mins and we were informed the restaurant was preparing the food after order placement. After waiting for 1.5 hours, at 8:40pm, our order was cancelled suddenly !!! Yes, suddenly! Can you imagine they let the hungry customer wait for 1.5 hours and then cancelled the order without any reason?! We were super hungry and we had to find another restaurant again at almost 9pm!
For everyone who wants to use this service, you will definitely regret.

Restaurants closed : offer an option to pre-order. I used to preorder breakfast for next day because I want to schedule my time better and send my kids to sports etc. and I find the app never worked around mid-night probably they doing some kind of update or some sort - but the worst thing is, once they allow you to select the restaurant, food, Delievery time etc , after all these are done. The app will say: Sorry, the restaurant is closed now! Come on, didn’t we all know this at this first place and that’s why there’s a preorder function? Wasted customers time to gain no revenue but just disappointment , frustration and anger!

You will loss due to the bugs in the app

Yesterday, there was a bug in the app that led to my loss. The bug is related to the "favorite restaurant" system. I have saved only one SamGor restaurant located at Tsz Wan Shan and one other restaurant located in Tsz Wan Shan in my FoodPanda App. The FoodPanda App was misleading in the course of ordering food: I ordered food by clicking on my favourite restaurant in my app; however, the app wrongly directed me to a SamGor restaurant located at Mong Kok. To avoid giving wrong order, I checked the "favourite restaurant" list and found out that the list was correctly including the SamGor restaurant located at Tsz Wan Shan as the only SamGor restaurant. Therefore, I believe the app was having a display error on the app that showing the restaurant locating at Mong Kok. I continued my order through selecting the SamGor restaurant inside the list of "favourite restaurant". However, the bug of the foodpanda app has misled me to give a wrong order in the SamGor restaurant at Mong Kok rather than giving a order in the desirable SamGor restaurant in Tsz Wan Shan. IT IS THE ERROR OF THE FOODPANDA APP THAT CAUSED MY LOSS, therefore: I request for refund or equivalent amount of coupon to compensate my loss. I have record ed the whole course of ordering that clearly demonstrates the bugs.

A lot of times I feel that Foodpanda is not doing its best to improve CX but only cares about money they earn.
I particularly do not understand, when I ordered 2 items and if the store is running out of one of them, why can’t the store call me to communicate for an alternative but just cancel it without letting me know until I checked the order again?
Meituan in mainland China has all the best ways to protect customers but Foodpanda can’t care less about customers.
Also when you accidentally placed something wrong there is no flexibility at all to either communicate with the store or cancel the order and re-do it. It’s not like you can’t do it but you simply don’t care.

I’ve used many different food delivery apps and have been continually let down by Foodpanda’s mediocrity. While delivery apps such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats offer exemplary services and assistance, Foodpanda’s customer service team is abysmal and they are stuck in a set of outdated and frustrating systems that are not geared towards their customer. After many incidents with them, they have now refused to refund me over $800 for an order that was incorrect and I have spent days being fed standardised emails from their customer service team when trying to get help. This is the type of experience to expect if you decide to use their service.

(19 Feb 2021) I strongly discourage you from using this app. I put in an order for two dishes and because their app doesn’t work properly, it only registered one dish.
Customer service didn’t do anything about it but waste my time and I needed to put in a duplicate order and pay the delivery fee twice. What a sham.
Their customer support is absolutely unprofessional. On a separate occasion, they asked me to send a photo of my order, which they had screwed up. None of their agents remain on a file, so I got passed to 4 different agents, each of whom repeated the same message and asked me to send a photo of my order. It’s infuriating to repeat the same actions without receiving any service. They are useless and incredibly unprofessional.
They also include these useless buttons such as cancel and change order. These buttons are useless as once you send an order, its filled immediately and you can’t make changes or cancel the order. I can’t even add items to it. There’s no point of including these buttons other than to give the illusion of order flexibility. They and their app can screw up your order and they won’t do anything about it. Stay away from this company and its app.

Impossible cancellation time, I accidentally swiped place order and tried to cancel immediately literally seconds but the app rejected the cancellation as the restaurant is already “preparing” right the 1 second the order the placed. I called the restaurant immediately and was only told that they cannot change orders on foodpanda and I would have to contact customer support in which I did on the live chat. Explained my situation and the online agent was very understanding and escalated the case the “higher” management. After reviewing the case, the “higher” did nothing but to tell me to be careful next time as there was nothing they could do for me. I did not want a refund, but reasonable explainable on how customers are protected if they are not able to cancel within the minute food has been placed. Clearly I wanted to pick something else and accidentally swiped placed order without a confirmation. Regardless I was going to order on panda so my intentions were not cheating myself a free meal but to feel appreciated as a customer and feel safe to order. After this incident I am done with this as I feel unsafe ordering again since there is nothing to protect customers from ordering premium priced food via here. Goodbye panda thanks for 1 year + service

I placed my order and apparently it turned out to be pickup and when I tried to correct it by trying to reach foodpanda which didn’t have any hotline number and the only way to reach out to them was through their chat support which timed out few times and a struggle to get through them and by the time I got connected to they were not even able to convert my pick up delivery to home delivery even though I requested to pay the price and they kept insisting that I will have to go and collect it by myself. Truly a very bad experience when you don’t know how to meet the needs of your customer.

1. There was a missing item when the food delivered during my first ordering.
2. Order was being cancelled after confirmation. If the restaurant is too busy to receive any order, they should be doing it in advance to inform Food Panda and avoid orders are being placed. I have been waiting for the food then they suddenly reject, refuse and cancel my order which has been "successfully placed"? It was unacceptable.
3. Customer service email auto-replied me that they will follow up and reply me in 24 hours. But none of the file up actions were done. And no email was received.
It was just terrible.

This is the worst delivery service.. please don’t use this!! They have un-responsible service .. they are unlimited delay, and never tell you the truth arrival time! You can’t cancel order!! I relied on this app a lot after my card info was stolen when using another well-known food delivery app. However recently I kept experiencing unfortunate situations, like no reference number for my pick up order (in fact I have never seen one), WILDLY incorrect estimation of delivery time (20 minutes when placing the order and immediately changed to over an hour immediately after I paid), etc.
Worst case, the online chat box isn’t helpful at all. I guess they don’t even have the power to cancel an order that is JUST placed 3 minutes ago and refund the price. Apologetic emojis aren’t gonna solve my problem are they?
Quite disappointed as in many situations, time is really the essence for me. If no reliable estimation of time can be made, I will give up the platform for good.

After the update, I can’t log in to my account and always showing there are wrong with the account or password. I remove the app and download it again, the problem still there. Please fix the problem. If there is still have the problem of using the app, I don't think I will use it again. As there are few choices in the restaurant.

The first time I faved difficulty with this app was when the restaurant listed their items for a lower price but the app was charging me higher! I sent an email n they told me app is facing technical issues so use website!
The second time, I placed an order from a restaurant that gives 30% off for orders over 200$. I added 3 items but at the end, the 3rd item didn’t add up and I was charged 190$ with no discount. Had the third item added up I would have got my discount. I did an online chat but they couldn’t help me. So FoodPanda didn’t give me the discount as promised, and I got one good item less, and they made extra money at my cost! I am uninstalling this app! The only reason I gave one star is because their delivery guys are always kind and courteous! And work hard to ensure good is delivered at the earliest! But the app is horrible! Fix it or lose more customers! I’m only gonna use Deliveroo from here onwards!

My first few orders were good and delivered on time. However, I have experienced a massive delay on my 2 orders lately. The expected delivery time kept changing from 5-20 minutes, and when it got to 5min, it will change back to 20min.
I have contacted the restaurants and they assured me that the order is ready and when my food finally came, they were all cold. So it’s obvious that it was the driver not doing their job.
Continue to use this app if u want wait for an hour for cold food

The service has been nice. But there is a frustrating issue with the coupon system. There was a time when I inputted the coupon but at the end didn’t finish the payment (I cancelled the payment as I wanted to double check the address). Then the second time I proceeded to payment and it turned out the coupon had already expired for me(even though I didn’t use it in the first time).
Also, the shopping cart is not persistent and I needed to add again after I flipped to the homepage and then back to the restaurant page.

Placed my first-time order at 7:43pm. At 8:30, the app still says the food will arrive in 5 minutes - it was already delayed from the original estimate but I didn’t mind. At 8:37, it went from 1 minute remaining to order cancelled. Words couldn’t describe how upset I was at this utterly horrendous way of doing business. I was then scrambling to get my food ordered from elsewhere and not to mention getting an earful from my old ball’n chain.
Horrible - simply put.

I was trying to place an order and it popped up a system message saying “unexpected error” and “object not exist”, and the order didn’t get through. I restarted the app, the order still exist in the cart, so I resubmitted again. In the end, the order has been placed twice, when I found that that, I urged the driver of the 2nd order not to come, but he refused, and dropped the food down and walk away. Then I tried to seek help from the online operator, she said both orders were requested from my account (of course from my account) and the order already prepared, there is nothing she can do and refused to refund. So my credit card was being charged twice and there is no way I can file a complaint case. This is ridiculous and unacceptable!!!

I would like to file a complaint about the cancelling policy of your company. Your app mistakenly ordered the food this afternoon. I tried to cancel the order the second i received the message and i started the live chat but no response. Then i called the restaurant directly and it says i cant cancel it. The restaurant provided a phone number and asked me to call. It turns out is a restaurant hotline. After 5 mins’ trying , the chat box replied and said the restaurant had started to prepare the food so i cant cancel it.
How can i cancel my order?
This is ridiculous. I hope your company can do something to help. I am very disappointed with the performance of your company. No one help.
Is there any improvement you can make for customers to cancel the wrong order?

First, the app was not functioning normally. We could not proceed our order after trying many times. We finally gave up and used another phone to order again. However, when the food came, we discovered there were 2 orders delivered to us! The first order was unsuccessful as the app didn’t show any succeed ordering notification. However, it turned out to be succeed. This failure was due to the app’s technical problem. But we had to pay for it. How could u eat 2 sets of meal? And actually paid for it.
Then, the customer service of food panda was the worst ever. We tried to explain the situation to the staffs, some just wanted to end the conversation without help. Some kept talking about the same thing and seemed not understanding the situation. They were helpless and hopeless. They didn’t wanna solve the problem. Rubbish ever!

1. Very difficult to enter a correct address. The app keeps saying that the address is invalid when it is not. It should either expand its database or let user enters their own address!
2. When I use a voucher, the pop-up keeps coming up saying that I need to add more items in order to use the voucher, but when it comes up, I cannot delete/edit the items!
3. After the pop-up comes up for a few times, it said the voucher limit is reached! So, before I use the voucher, it said I cannot use it anymore!

I’ve been using this app for quite a few time, and I was always happy with it. Unfortunately the service had gone straight down hill these days. They have messed up my order, missing 3 items form the combo. Usually they will arrange someone to re-deliver it, however this time the only compensation they could offered is a voucher. And for that voucher I could only use it within a month and after spending $100. The combo that I have ordered this time was only around $60, honestly I feel like this is not a compensation but a trick to make costumer to spend more. Why do they expect costumer to pay more after they mess up. This is so unfair, I will never use this app again. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I have been using foodpanda early. But now, I will use it only if necessary.
Apart from the quit app issues, the App always prompts ridiculous message, like ask me to register another account when I switched the address from home to work address. When I try register another account, it says “Your phone number has been registered.” ha ha ha, is it a dead loop?!
The food order was always late, it’s 40 minutes and end up i have to wait around 2 hours. And the most ridiculous thing is that, some time ago, I placed an order around 9pm and the estimated time keep extends until around 10pm, the order was cancelled by them. 10pm! I cant even switch my order to deliveroo as most of the restaurant closed! The CS was not helpful at all!

I made an order for pizza and it said need to wait around 60 mins. After 60 mins and i check the order delivery situation through the app, it said the order has already delivered, but I received nothing. I dont even got a phone call which I required to give me a call when arrived.
So i tried to contact the online service chat, and i got the response that due to the technical problem, my order was cancalled. I wait for 60 mins without any notification that the order is cancelled and all the info. i got is wrong. So i request a refund of my order. And once I sent the msg that i want a refund, the conversation page between me and the online service personnel was gone. They (food panda ) has deleted all our conversation in a sec, I dont even have time to cap as reference. Now I dont know if they really will refund back to me.
This is the worse online food ordering an delivering experience ever. If u dont want to take high risk, dont try food panda.

When I places an order, it said delivery ETA is 45mins later. After 30 mins, it said it takes another 50mins. Given I am not that hungry, I just wait again. Another 30 mins passed, when I check on the app, it said it takes another 47mins. I asked the customer service who can just give me standard answer: there are no driver available at the moment, we will try to arrange it asap. Or would you like to cancel the order. After another 30mins, it said it takes about 45mins. I gave up finally. If there are not enough drivers, you should never take up an order! Once you take up an order, it should mean you have enough man power to deliver at your estimated time. Certain delay during peak hours are acceptable but definitely not delaying over 2 hours but still not yet placing my order to the restaurant.

I haven’t been a fan of their customer service when one order leaked everywhere and there was no follow up after. It was fine as I still had deliveroo. However I moved to an area where deliveroo is not present so I am only left food panda. Fine, beggars can’t be choosers I get it, but the truth is that it has just confirmed how poor their customer service is.
I placed an order and it got cancelled after one after, it happened twice in a row, without any one following up. I placed the order for lunch and I missed the window to eat. Yes 2 days without lunch. But the worst thing is that there was no follow up, until I made extra effort to complain. And they just gave me a mechanical answer “received too many orders so had to cancel”.
Another time I put a remark “less salty” and food came extra salty that it was not edible. I wonder what went wrong.
Deliveroo is much better.

It keeps asking me to fill in the address bars, while it either keeps re-writing my filled info, or keeps asking me to fill in the details of “street name/ building name”. Further more, this is not a 1st time order, it pops the same problems even I chose to use last order’s address. I’ve the most updated apps version but the problem is still the same. It just looks apps crush or bugs.
More importantly, there’s no service support at all. The only support I could find was online chat, but the cs simply not responding at all after saying “hi” and asked me to update through website. 1) he’s not giving me any website link nor responding my problems description; 2) if the apps can’t update address, how come there’s the edit option? How come I chose my last address but it still prompts me error to fill out the bars again and again, which I simply can’t place an order. If it’s really a temp apps crush, I expect at least the cs would tell me about it, not just hanging me over there with no further response at all!
Lastly, I want to seek for where I could delete my profile from food panda. Again, there’s no such support through out the apps nor the website! Simply deleting apps doesn’t seem my file is deleted from their database. I don’t want any further distress from this crap in the future, and I don’t like such rubbish company keep my personal record in their database at all!

Extremely slow delivery- and it’s not the worst thing. Unreliable delivery time tracker is the real problem. The estimated time of delivery keeps changing constantly. One moment they tell you your food will arrive in 7 mins, next moment they readjust it to 19 mins. It usually keeps going back and forth multiple times and I would end up waiting 2 hours for a restaurant 10 mins away from my place. Happened several times already.

I placed my order, driver ringed me at the lobby, I let him in the building, and then he disappeared. I found customer service from foodpanda, and the driver claimed that he delivered my food to a woman. But he didn’t come to my flat at all! I waited for so long.
Their drivers really need some practical training to check clearly where exactly is their destination. Very bad delivery and service, waste my time and I’m hungry!!
I suggest to state ur driver number when we place the order so we can call them directly to keep track on our order.

Same as what other reviewer wrote, I experienced the same issue. I waited for over 1hr while the delivery time kept decreasing from 80min to 48min to 25min. I opened the chat to seek assistance and was then told by the customer service that the restaurant has closed. I never got any notification about it and was waiting the whole time trusting the platform to let me know if there is any issue. Turned out I was so wrong - the customer service told me to check the operation time of the restaurant as if he/she was blaming me for placing an order at an restaurant that was about to close while the app did not have any notification or warning about it. The app could at least notify me that the restaurant has closed but they didn’t until I waited for 1hr and asked the customer service. When I asked why showing ‘28min’ delivery time while the actual delivery time is ‘never’, he/she outright said ‘the delivery time is not reliable’. This is ridiculous, especially considering its competitors Ubereats of Deliveroo do show reliable delivery time and proactively keep users notified if there’s any issue with the orders. Lastly, the customer service had terrible attitude in handling customer’s feedback.
This is my first and last time using this app and will let all my friends and family know how terrible this app is.

I regularly use Deliveroo, Ubereats and foodpanda. Although foodpanda does have a wider selection in food, it never fails to (1) give little to none accurate service updates of your food (2) provide misleading delivery times and (3) be late for delivery. Several times I’ve only found out an order was cancelled by only opening the app. No email and no pop up notifications. Asides from being the worst, it’s also unapologetic. Ubereats will notify you if there is any delay whereas Deliveroo goes as far as to automatically provide discount coupons for your next meal if your delivery was late enough.
Unless you’re willing to gamble your meal and either have it late or not delivered at all, don’t bother.

Enjoyed a few orders using food panda. Great for local restaurants that we hadn’t tried. Only mishap was using pre ordering . 10 minutes from when the food was suppose to be delivered, I thought it best I check with there customer service what was happening with my order. They then cancelled my order after apologising a thousand times for the inconvenience, because there was no drivers available. Then upon returning to main screen the restaurant that I was ordering from said 35 minute wait time! So I had to replace my order and pay again! Frustrating as hell! Otherwise good app and service.

I have ordered few times from this app. A very bad experience happened this time. I have ordered two bowls of noodles and vegetable, the app shown there was 20mins left to deliver at the beginning , afterwards I checked again, they cancelled the whole order suddenly because one of the ordered item (the vegetable )sold out, actually I make a change of the food, then the order can successfully send out. However, they chose to cancel the whole order after I waited for over 45 mins . It made the customer disappointed and feel doesn’t make sense.
I will reconsider to use this app again.

Complaint about the delivery time & I said to cancel the order as it’s been more than 1 hr when it’s supposed to be 30 mins. Food panda even challenge me that they cancel but will block a certain service for me for cancelling when it was not even my fault. Ask the good panda staff to bring this issue to person in charge and he/she said that they’ll get back to within 24hrs. It’s been almost a week & still nothing so I sent an email few days ago and still said 24hrs but it’s almost 4 days and still nothing. This company doesn’t care about the customer they only care about getting their commission whether the customer does get or not satisfied. Such a bull crap service. Worst than Self service kiosk!

This is the most unreliable food delivery service. We waited for over 2 hours for the food and the food finally arrived but not even our order. We asked the rider to take the food back to the other customer. The app just deducted the money anyways and when we finally was able to speak to a customer service person, he asked us to reorder at wait for another hour. We ordered at around 5:50 pm and they expect us to reorder at 8:15 pm and wait for another 45-60 min for our dinner. Ridiculous! We wanted to go to the restaurant to pick up and they even cancelled our order without our permission! Horrible. I would like to rate 0 star instead of 1 star if possible.

Ridiculous! I have been a user for a long time but many times the orders are delayed. Yesterday, the driver got lost and took over 1 hour to arrive, I tried to ask customer service to help but they were useless. When the driver arrived, he gave me sh** about “inaccurate address” - which is actually a problem with the app!!
Today, I ordered again from another address at my friend’s house, and again the order was late! Took over an hour this time! Halfway through it, the app showed the food was still not being prepared, so I asked customer service to help cancel, and that I would just go out to eat as I was starving. They refused and when I insisted, they said they wouldn’t refund me if I insist to cancel.

Today is the first time I use the app. I have to order a lunch set at 11:55, the app show that they need 65mins to deliver to my home! I think 65 mins is ok for me so I ordered! However, they said will be a bit late! And the app show me that they well late over 60 mins! That means this order need to use over 2hrs to deliver...... it’s unacceptable! I try to ask them to cancel the order, they said cannot at the beginning. I Insist on canceling the order...... Finally they said can cancel the order and refund the money to me! I placed my order at 8:03pm on 3 August 2018 (HK time). The app indicated that the delivery time would be 40mins. At 8:55pm, no status at all. I contacted the customer service and agent “Sing” replied me at 8:55pm that my order will be delivered in 10-15mins. After 15mins, at 9:10pm, still no status and delivery yet, I contacted the customer service again. But then, they didn’t respond to me but telling me that my respond time was over and forced to end my conversation for 3 times!!!!! Obviously, they were trying to avoid my enquiry. They responded my enquiry only when a rider was assigned at 9:45pm.
The food was finally delivered at 10:08pm!!!!!!! 2 hours?! Amazing!! The food arrived wasn’t hot enough!!! Of course, the food was not hot as the food has been ready to pick up for long time, but foodpanda didn’t assign a rider. Anyone who wants to be starving like me and served with no temperature food, please order your food from Foodpanda. What a great experience!!!!!!!!
***IMPORTANT NOTES***To those who would like to enjoy the free deliver at foodpanda from Monday to Friday, I would say that only anger in return. Better pay $20 at deliveroo to buy back your happiness!!!!!!!

I’ve ordered quite a few times from this app. And it was fine. But the last two times really had me reconsider. I waited like 90 mins for both those orders. That is a ridiculous amount of time, given that the estimate times were 60 and 30 mins. This second time I contacted them with the chat function and they were completely useless. It’s like they didn’t even read anything I wrote and just kept asking me if there is anything else they can help me with, just like another reviewer said. My problem wasn’t even RESOLVED, and they wanted to be done with it already? And when the rider FINALLY picked up my order, I told them I wanted to be compensated for the extra EXTRA wait time like deliveroo does when they make this mistake, which is what should be done. But they told me they couldn’t do that, and then blamed the late time on the restaurant. Like their stove broke BOTH times I ordered from them?? And interesting how the guy only said that when I said I wanted compensation, and wouldn’t tell me ANYTHING useful when I didn’t ask for compensation. The service of this app is terrible. I guess it’s a luck thing. If your food is late, don’t even try to reach out to them. You would only get more and more angry. Just wait patiently and curse your luck.

I can’t imagine why is took a total of 120min for my chicken to arrive. I can understand if the delivery guy ask me for direction but I cannot possibly accept him asking me to come down from my house to find him. Huh, what a joke. This restaurant take order so slow that even my grandmother can run faster than the retarded delivery guy who couldn’t even speak like a normal person. He should find another job that doesn’t require him to speak like for example a garbage collector. Oh wait, apologies, that’s way too nice. More like he should jump off from a IFC. It's been the 2nd time using the app, the first was bad already, the delivery was late, at least one hour waiting even if they stated "25mins" on the app. The delivery guy wasn't wearing any uniform or anything for me to recognize him. And the soup was spilled out and messy.
I thought it was only an exceptional case therefore I gave them a second chance.
Today, I ordered at 2:55pm and the app stated that the delivery time "50 mins", and the status in the app pretended that everything is smooth and showed that the order is arriving when I check at 15:35pm, but I couldn't locate the driver on the app. I use the chat function and ask if my food is really on the way, and they reply the driver is just on his way to pick up my order, and there is nothing I can do but to WAIT. They are not willing to help at all, just tell me it's gonna be a bit late and keep asking if there is any other question. Now it's 16:02pm, and I'm still waiting for my food which I don't even know when will it comes.
Terrible terrible service, I'm gonna delete the app and never use it again.
For the people who wanted to try, PLEASE DON'T!!!

I tried the Foodpanda delivery service for the first time today but was very disappointed with the delivery service offered by your company, the food we ordered was 45 mins late and the soup was spilled out into the delivery bag.
I ordered the food online at 11:00am today and scheduled the food to be delivered at 12:45pm. However, no food was arrived at 1:10pm. We called the shop and they explained they received the order from foodpanda very late that they were still preparing it.
I finally received the food by 1:30pm. However, as I chose to separate the soup, 2 bowls - out of 5 - of soup were broken and all the soup was spilled out into the plastic bags.
We complained to the delivery guy and the shop but they said we could only call foodpanda to complain. There is no phone number on your website and the chat function on the mobile app was not functioning, I could only make my complain through email.
As I had already paid my money that I could only accept the food no matter how poor the food condition was. I tried other food delivery service providers before but I didn’t encounter such issue before.

Have deleted from phone. Will not install again. Will advise anyone I know still using panda to stop using.
1) showed “3min from you” and yet I waited for 30+ min. When complain to live rep, no regret. Just an empty “we’re sorry”
2) ordered below minimum amount and yet there’s no notification / sign to warn users when choose Apple Pay. Help desk blamed user for not seeing the sign, but there simply is no sign
3) simply a bad app with a revamped interface. Inaccurate time estimate, inappropriate customer service attitude

Ridiculous Waiting Time For Delivery And Non-Existent Customer Service

The app estimated a delivery time of 35 minutes for my order, but I ended up waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes for it to arrive!
I contacted customer service twice to let them know I have not received my order within the estimated time frame and both times I was told to keep waiting! There is no option for cancellation or for refund once you have placed your order even though Food Panda is a fault for severely delayed delivery!
