The FUJIFILM Camera Remote is an application provided by FUJIFILM that can operate wireless-equipped digital cameras by remote control to shoot images and to view images and movies in the camera and to transfer them to smartphones or tablets. And it also supports the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. Pair it with your smartphones or tablet devices, it synchronizes "date and time" and/or "location information" of your smartphone or tablet devices with the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. In advanced of shooting, to easily transfer pictures you have taken to the smartphones or tablet device via this application. Bluetooth wireless remote shutter release can be used for cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. In addition, firmware update is now supported from your smartphone or tablet devices via Bluetooth without the need of a SD memory card.

Tips to make it work
Once you are in the app connection screen « please wait » you will see that your phone is trying to connect to the camera network without succeeding.
Go to WIFI, change network (i.e: your home WIFI), then change it again to your camera WIFI that still should be here and voilà.

Rubbish app with No updates and fixes!!
I have been using Fujifilm camera for a few years now. What surprises me is that even everyone saying and complaining how bad is the app but there’s NO updates and fixes at all!! The connection is unstable, also failed to connect!!! What we want is just a simple way that we can transfer the photos from camera to mobile phone then edit and post instantly!! No one from Fujifilm take it serious even after all the bad reviews…… seriously?

This app make me very disappointed, no matter how I love Fujiflim camera, It make me forgive to use this camera because of this rubbish app! ALWAYS FAIL TO BE CONNECTED! Just wondering Fujiflim management, how could you approve UAT pass for the apps ? Did you really tested is ok to use before launch? This app is just performing a simple function, but still always fail, even many user complaint, it is still like that, it is showing that your brand not have heart on service, not listen to customers’ need! Worse app ever
If I knew this app is garbage I won’t buy the camera coz I do a lot of remote shooting work. The remote shooting mode is extremely slow and lack that I don’t even bother to use anymore. The transfer photos mode is super slow that it’s much faster to transfer through SD card.

This app so bad that it ruins the whole experience
I own a XT200 and am in iOS14.4 and I have given all permission to this stupid app, and I suddenly cannot even use the live view function. This app is the most unreliable camera app I have ever used and I cannot rely on this app to take any selfie, I would rather use the self timer function then this app of stupidity. Fujifilm should fire the whole app development team for ruining the user experience by this app while they have one of the most fantastic cameras I have used.

After update the new iOS., the apps doesn’t connect the camera. It is simply not able to transfer the photos at all. Please fix all the bugs of the app. It is such a pity to have great camera but useless app. Using the type c cable as an only option to transfer photo, it is not user friendly at all. CHANGE SOME SETTINGS!!!
1. allow this app to access your BLUETOOTH.
2. allow this app to access your LOCATION (as you like, you may choose either while using or always)
I’m a user of XE-3 and iphone X. It works with me after i read this instruction from the Taiwan official fuji web (btw, I cant find any announcement through the english official page).
But still to fuji, it’s really a bad experience waiting such a long period, and I believe that would just take you a few more minutes adding a message telling your customers how the new updates works, no matter through app store updates descriptions or show in your app.
Really bad experience, please do some improvement.

Lost of connection
There are 3 issues on this app with my iPhone:
1. preview loading is very slow
2. The connection between the camera and iPhone always lost during the uploading of photos to iPhone
3. Once u click to enlarge the preview picture and try to go back one step afterwards, the app always stuck or reload
