The defense makes its case

The defense makes its case

時間長度:49:15
During a hearing, the attorneys for the men accused in the death of Ahmaud Arbery formally asked a judge to allow evidence about the slain man's past before a jury. But that's not the only major update in the case. We have a federal hate crimes indictment, a change to Georgia's Citizen's Arrest Law, and a trial date.
Join host Bill Rankin as he recounts the latest on the case.

說明

Now in its eighth season, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Breakdown podcast returns with host Bill Rankin to examine the case of Ahmaud Arbery. On Feb. 23, Arbery, a 25-year-old African-American man, was fatally shot three times as he jogged through the Satilla Shores neighborhood just outside of coastal Brunswick, where he was confronted by two white men. Greg McMichael, his son Travis McMichael, and their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan, who took the now-familiar video of the incident, all face felony murder charges. The AJC's Breakdown podcast is just that — the breakdown of the story and the systems. The largest newsroom in the southeast delivers investigations and true crime cases that you cannot find anywhere else.
